Shivani Sharma
Shivani Sharma is Assistant Professor in the area of Business Communication at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur, Odisha. She holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. She was awarded the Shastri Research Student Fellowship from Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute to pursue a segment of her Ph.D. research at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. At the 73rd Annual Convention of the Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association in Texas, US, she also won the Charles Davis Best Graduate Student Presentation Award for her research paper. Her research interests include Business Communication, Business Ethics, Cross-Cultural Communication, Cultural Semiotics, Intermedia and Transmedia Studies, and Epic Studies.
